A reader informed me that almost everything I did on this site is a blatant violation of LEGO's Fair Play policy. Since I do recognize the need of Lego to protect their trademark I do support this policy and I decided to rename my library. From now on, my library shall be known to the world as NXT#. It's not the most inventive name but neither was the previous one and at least it's pretty descriptive. Please update your bookmarks. |

NXT# 0.2 is ready for download in the download section. Here are the new features: - The ultrasound sensor is working. There are still some communication issues when using the AutoPoll feature but I did not want to keep all those wanting to work with it from using the US sensor, simply because it is unstable in some situations.
- I added a NxtTankDrive component, which allows synchronized tank drive operation for preciese positioning.
- I also added a NxtTankDriveControl control for your convenience.
- Some minor performance updates.
- Some code changes to keep everything as consistent as possible. A consistent library is an easy one to use.

Finally! I got the Bluetooth connection to the MindStorms NXT brick working. Bluetooth is a standard meant to connecting wireless devices less of a hassle. Nevertheless, in my experience, Bluetooth is a major pain in the behind at the best of times and Mindstorms NXT did not turn out to be an exception. |
